About Us
Founded more than 60 years ago, FruitVegetablesEUROPE (EUCOFEL) is the European Association representing the EU Fruit and Vegetables production and trade at European level .

FruitVegetablesEUROPE’s mission is to represent, defend and promote the Fruit and Vegetables produced in the EU.
Founded more than 60 years ago, FruitVegetablesEUROPE (EUCOFEL) is the European Association representing the EU Fruit and Vegetables production and trade at European level . Based in Brussels, FruitVegetablesEUROPE acts as a liaison between the sectoral and regional stakeholders and the policy makers at the European Institutions, giving a voice to the European Fruit and Vegetables production and trade.
Over the years, FruitVegetablesEUROPE has become a major actor in the sector and cooperates on a regular basis with the European Institutions, International Organisations (such as OECD, UNECE and CODEX Alimentarius) and other relevant European associations. FruitVegetablesEUROPE actively participates in expert and advisory groups, takes part in consultations and provides feedback and opinions on diverse issues. FruitVegetablesEUROPE acts on an international level, complementing the efforts and actions taken at national level by its Members, with the aim of serving the interests of the EU Fruit and Vegetable production and trade, striving to create a level playing field and ensuring fairer conditions for EU producers and traders.
FruitVegetablesEUROPE members are National and Regional Federations/Associations (mainly PO and APO) and companies from the main European fruit and vegetables producing countries (France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Spain).
FruitVegetablesEUROPE’s membership is open to all EU fruit and vegetables producers and exporters.

EU fruit and vegetables in the internal market and third countries.
Defending
Free competition in the Internal Market.
Improving
The competitiveness of EU fruit and vegetables production and trade.
Working
Towards the opening of third country markets.
Defending
EU producers from unfair competition.

The Union from the introduction of plant pests.
